Some originals are already matted and framed with high-quality acid-free mats. If you are interested, we can send a photo of the framed piece.
Most of my originals have been sold & I haven't been able to produce as many new paintings as I would like to in the recent months!

Norwegian Skier

Unframed original, approx. 8"x10" - $300

I took a photo of the Norwegian Ski Organization's sign at Oslo's ski jump. Grooves were carved into the wood then painted blue. I added the snowflake border and used salt on my wet watercolors to make the crystallizing effect in the border.

  Norwegian Valley

Unframed original, approx. 11"x14" - $350

When my sister and her husband visited us last summer, we took a trip to Norway. It was so beautiful and dramatic! We visited Flåm and took the train to Myrdal. This is the famous view from the train. We stopped and walked part way down, which is a good way to absorb the landscape!

Morning in Provence

Unframed original, approx. 11"x14" - $300

This is adapted from a photograph from my mom's trip to France. I loved all the stone and the flowers growing wherever they get the chance! I just love lavender and plan to plant quite a bit in my garden this spring.

Boutiques in Provence

Unframed original, approx. 11"x14" - $300

This street just looked so interesting! I wanted to bring out the fun feeling when you travel and don't know what is around the next corner. I like the uniformity of the blue doors that makes it feel like the village has a strong sense of community and history.

Tea Party

Unframed original, approx. 8"x8" - $275

Many of my paintings are inspired by the style of Swedish artist Carl Larsson. This painting is very different and I was trying out the style of Mary Engelbrect. I made stylized flowers and "set the table" for a whimsical tea party!

Framed Original, 12½"x15½" with Frame - $375

I went to the little town of Sigtuna, a main trading center in the 11th century, with my sister-in-law and her two kids. We had a picnic, and I was able to paint this scene that was in front of us. I showed my nephew, Lukas, how to throw rocks into the water. It was very cute.

Baby Bottles

Unframed original, 8"x10" - $275

I wanted to create something cozy and cheerful for a baby's room. I went to the store for some "research" and discovered that bottles come in all shapes and sizes, so anything goes. I had fun thinking of chubby shapes that would go with a variety of cheerful colors.
